Well, after 2 long months of waiting, we've finally received an update on our son Jacob. What a difference 2 months can make! We can't believe how much he's changed.
It definitely looks like he's eating well. Before long, he's going to fit into these awesome jerseys!
Thanks Uncle "Bone" and Auntie Lauren for the Badger jersey!
Thanks Uncle Jeff for the Favre jersey! We know it had to be painful for a 49er fan to buy the jersey of the man who has beat down his team so many times.
We also want to thank everyone else who has sent gifts for Jacob. We really appreciate it.
It's so hard to have to wait to go down to Guatemala to pick him up. One of the workers from our adoption agency is going to be in Guatemala this coming week. We told her to take plenty of pictures of Jacob. We'll be sure to post them as soon as possible.

Heartsent Adoption Agency Video
The other day we were surfing the internet looking for videos about Guatemalan adoptions. In the process, we happened to find a video about the adoption agency we are working with - Heartsent. We really like this video, and all of our friends at Heartsent, so we thought we'd give them some free publicity!
Everyone at Heartsent has been really been great so far. This process can be a bit overwhelming at times, but thankfully they've helped us keep our sanity. We couldn't imagine getting through the emotional rollercoaster of an international adoption without their help and support along the way.

Happy Birthday Grandma Nina
Today we honor the birthday of Tanya's mother - aka Grandma Nina. Although Jacob won't get to meet her in person, her spirit is still going strong in the lives of all of those she came in contact with. We can't wait to share pictures and stories of his Grandma Nina. We know she's keeping an eye on Jacob as he waits for our arrival.
